Lindsay McBride, OTR, M.O.T.

Lindsay is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Business. She received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Texas Woman’s University.

Lindsay has always been devoted to helping others thrive. She was honored with the President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2004 for her countless hours of service that provided support to at-risk children and young adults. Lindsay began her career at Texas Children’s Hospital working in the outpatient and acute care settings and took on the role of team leader for the outpatient rehabilitation team. She has experience working in many different settings, including hospitals, school, home healthcare, and private practice. She has a special interest in treating children with Sensory Processing Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders, Developmental Coordination Disorder, and Developmental Delay.

Lindsay has advanced training in Handwriting Without Tears, Integrated Listening System (iLS), Interactive Metronome, Kinesiotaping, Aquatic Therapy and CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute. Lindsay enjoys incorporating yoga and mindfulness techniques into individualized treatment plans as a therapeutic tool to address sensory and motor needs. Through the application of sensory integration principles to the practice of yoga, children make tremendous physical, emotional and social gains. Lindsay values a holistic and multidisciplinary approach. Her passion is to support individuals to unlock their resources and strengths to reach their highest potential.
